Now you can switch on your holiday home heating by simply calling a mobile phone number.
The GSM-AUTO is a small unit that allows you to control your holiday home's heating from anywhere in the world.

The GSM-AUTO is a mobile phone with two electronic relay switches. By calling its number you can switch on your heating and arrive to a nice warm holiday home.

If you rent out your home, you can tell the GSM-AUTO to make sure the heating has been switched off when your guests leave.

The GSM-AUTO will control gas and oil fired heating directly. With electric heating, a power solid state switch may be required.

The GSM-AUTO can be installed by any competent DIY person. Simply join 2 wires from the GSM-AUTO's terminal block to the heating controller. It is programmed by sending it simple text messages. We can give help on how do this.

You can use any GSM SIM Card. Should you be in a weak signal area, there is an external antenna to boost the signal strength. With a "pay as you go" SIM card the Tnetwork cost is almost zero, as it never needs to make call. (Only occasionally to keep the SIM card active.)

Call the GSM-AUTO from any phone. It will switch on your your holiday home heating without answering the call. It costs you nothing to call your holiday home heating from anywhere in the world!

	Switch on Central Heating away from home. Simply wire Relay 1/C and Relay 1/NO in parallel with the heating programmer. Send the GSM-AUTO a simple text message the set the relay to switch on for say 2 hours. You only have to do this once. When away from home, switch off the central heating. The GSM-AUTO will override the programmer. When you a less than 2 hours from home, call the GSM-AUTO to switch on your heating. When you arrive to a warm home turn on the heating in the usual way. There is no need to cancel the GSM-AUTO

It will work anywhere in the world where there is a GSM network and the GSM-AUTO can receive a signal

It can be activated from anywhere in the world as long as you have access to a telephone

Can anyone activate the GSM-AUTO by calling it?
Yes and no, the GSM-AUTO can work in open access mode whereby it will respond to any call made to it, or secure access mode when it will only respond to authorised numbers

What are the call costs?
The GSM-AUTO uses the cell phone network and the same as a cell phone it has a SIM card, when you call the GSM-AUTO it rejects the call without answering and switches on the device connected to it so there are no call costs incurred. When the GSM-AUTO is initially programmed it sends a confirmation sms text message and this will be charged at your network operators rate. If you use a pay-as-you-go SIM card there are no monthly charges.

Do I have to use a cell phone to activate the GSM-AUTO?
No it can be activated using a landline
